Hi everyone! I would like to give a short update to all of my new and existing patients. I am currently pregnant with triplets and was rushed to the ER via ambulance due to a complication of my pregnancy. I am currently on strict hospitalized bedrest. I won't get into details, but I wanted to let all new and existing patients know that I am so sorry and I will be back as soon as I can. I will, however, be hospitalized until the babies come. Number one priority right now is keeping babies healthy and getting to a point where they have a fighting chance of surviving. We will have amazing fill in doctors, including my sister - Dr. Schuiteman, my brother in law, Dr. DeWit, and a colleague of ours, Dr. Sapoznik. All doctors are residency trained and top notch optometrists. They will all be in contact with me, should there be any questions or concerns about your ocular health care. They will also be able to FaceTime if there are any questions about ongoing care. I will also be reviewing charts so that I'm aware of everyone's ocular health care moving forward. We still have our amazing staff here to help and they will try to make the transition as easy as possible. We will have new temporary hours for the office that we will post here, on our website, and at the office. I again apologize for the inconvenience and just know you are in great hands while I am away. I hope you have a wonderful day!
